Inevitably during the production of our titles, material is edited out. Rather than just file it all away, some of this extra material may be of interest to readers “for further reading” – full interviews, technical information, lists, images and so on. We plan to make some of this available as exclusive content via our website here. Some will be accessed via a password printed inside forthcoming books. These web pages will only go live once the book is published.

THESE PAGES ARE OPEN TO ANYONE. Although we managed to get over 200 images into this book, there were quite a few which didn’t make the grade for space or technical reasons. However we are bringing some if these into a section on this site called The Unseen Brian Smith, so people can at least get to see them. After all, despite the problems they still have a lot of historical interest.

There is also an exclusive article on the site showing how the images in the book were restored. Lastly there is a detailed article by our designer about the book’s cover, how this came about and the changes it underwent along the way. This is mainly aimed at graphic designers and the like!
